Personalized Training for Moving Beyond Injury
If you’re recovering from an injury, still don’t feel like you’re moving quite right, or want more individualized guidance than a group class can provide, personalized training can help you find a clearer path forward.
On NYC’s Upper West Side, I combine ELDOA, Pilates, foot health, myofascial stretching, and specialized strength training to create an exercise plan around your body, goals, and starting point.
Real Clients. Individualized Paths Forward.
Every client starts in a different place. Some are returning to exercise after physical therapy. Others are managing back pain, scoliosis, foot issues, or recurring injuries. My job is to find what your body needs now and build from there.
Returning to the activities they love.
"I came to Laura with a foot pain that just wouldn't go away and kept me from walking but I wanted to get back to hiking. We've worked together for a year now and this summer I enjoyed a hike in the Dolomites. She worked seamlessly with my acupuncturist to coordinate care and organize an exercise plan right for me."
What we worked on:
ELDOA • Foot Health • Pilates • Total Care
Outcome:

Recovering From an Injury?
Are you in physical therapy—or are working alongside other practitioners—but still don’t feel ready to exercise independently, I can help bridge the gap.
I assess how you move, identify what may still be holding you back, and build your training around your current needs and long-term goals. When needed, I also coordinate exercises and recommendations from your physical therapist or other practitioners with mine into one cohesive exercise plan.

Will Personalized Pilates Give Me Better Results Than Group Classes?
Group Pilates can be a great way to stay active, but personalized Pilates training gives you more individual guidance.
If you’re dealing with pain, recovering from injury, working around movement limitations, or simply want exercises adapted specifically to your body, private training allows us to modify the work, focus on the areas that need the most attention, and progress at your pace.
I offer personalized Pilates training as part of a broader individualized approach that also includes ELDOA, fascia focused stretching, foot health, and strength work.

Why ELDOA + Pilates?
ELDOA and Pilates complement each other in different ways. ELDOA targets specific areas of the body to create space, improve alignment, and support joint and spinal function, while Pilates trains the body more globally, building strength, control, and coordination.
Together, they allow us to address both the specific areas that need attention and how your whole body works as a system.
Why Should Your Training Should Fit Your Body?
There is no one exercise or method that works exactly the same way for everyone. You need a trainer that will adapt exercises to the person in front of them—your history, mobility, injuries, goals, feedback, and lifestyle.
With my Personalized Training Programs→ your program evolves as you do, with the goal of giving you the support you need now while helping you build the confidence and tools to become more independent over time.
Why Is Finding The Right Trainer Important?
Finding the right trainer is about more than methods and credentials—it’s about working with someone who combines expert knowledge with a genuine understanding of where you’re coming from. With expert credentials and personal experience with injury and movement, I bring both professional expertise and firsthand insight to my work.
My approach is individualized, educational, and focused on helping you become stronger, more confident, and more independent.
